Accessibility statement

This site should work for you whatever you use to read it. Here is the standard it is held to, where it currently falls short, and how to tell me when something blocks you.

The standard we build to

Fractionalstrategy.io targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That covers text and interface contrast, keyboard operability, visible focus, meaningful names for controls, labelled form fields, correct heading structure, and respecting a reduced-motion preference at the operating-system level.

Where the site stands today

Partially conformant, and actively being remediated. Most of the site meets the Level AA criteria above: there is a skip link to the main content, every page exposes a single main landmark, controls carry accessible names, forms have real labels and announce their errors, and animation is suppressed when your system asks for reduced motion.

Every animation that starts on its own and runs indefinitely — the word board in the header, the drifting sky, the logo strip, the colour washes — can also be stopped from inside the page. The Pause animation button sits in the bottom-left corner of every page and is the second stop in the keyboard tab order, after the skip link. Your choice is remembered between visits.

Known gaps that are still open:

  • Some decorative accent colors — small dots, arrows, and rules that sit beside text they duplicate — remain below the 3:1 non-text contrast threshold.
  • The scheduling calendar is an embedded third-party component (Cal.com) and the checkout form is embedded from Stripe. Their accessibility is largely outside this site’s control; if either blocks you, email me and we will book or bill you directly instead.
  • The site has not yet been through a full audit with a screen reader on every route, so there are likely defects nobody has found yet.

Telling us about a barrier

If any part of this site stops you from doing what you came to do, email hello@danjahn.com — or call 720.730.2123 — and say what you were trying to do, which page you were on, and what got in the way. Assistive technology and browser details help but are not required.

Every report gets a reply from a person, and where a fix is within this site’s control it gets scheduled rather than filed. If something is blocking you right now, say so and we will get you the same information or the same booking by another route in the meantime.
